According to Aymeric de Gironde, “we are clearly looking at a vintage similar to 2022, with a hot, dry season, small, highly concentrated and very aromatic berries, and great freshness despite the heatwaves. At Troplong Mondot, the aim is to produce wines in the spirit of what we have been doing since 2017, harvesting when the grapes are crunchy. We have therefore decided to be amongst the first to harvest once again, not by necessity but out of conviction, knowing that our terroir is such that we can truly take a proactive approach to managing the harvest.”
